Cooking Method

In Open Pot:

  1. Soak 1 cup (200g) rice in water for 120 minutes and then drain out the water properly.
  2. Boil 6 to 8 cups of water and add the soaked rice. Cook uncovered for 10 minutes on medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat and drain out the water properly. Fluff and serve.

In Covered Pot:

  1. Soak 1 cup (200g) rice in water for 120 minutes and then drain out the water properly.
  2. Combine soaked rice and ½ cups of water. Bring to a boil and stir occasionally. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat, but don’t uncover the rice for at least 5 minutes. Fluff and serve.

In Microwave:

  1. Soak 1 cup (200g) rice in water for 120 minutes and then drain out the water properly.
  2. Combine soaked rice and ½ cups of water. Cover and microwave on high heat for 3 minutes. Stir, cover, and cook on medium heat for another 10 minutes.
  3. Let the rice remain covered for 5 minutes. Fluff and serve!
